Well, I've got my Stoeger 3-9x40 in need of a home. So I think I'm going to try this first, and see how it works for me, magnification-wise.

I can compare it to my sight picture with the Leapers 3-12 I currently have on my X20 and the Hawke 4-14 on my Marauder.

I feel like this is probably a 40 yard gun, if I'm being realistic with myself, so the 6-24 might be overkill. I just need to find out if 12 or 14x is enough.
