I just got the barrel back, fixed. Put the gun together and went to mount the scope. However.... the high rings are not high enough to mount the 6.5-20x50 scope. The receiver is only a tiny bit higher than the barrel, so it is going to need extra high rings.

The high rings were just enough to mount my old Stoeger 3-9x40 scope. The medium rings I had before for the 3-9x40 only let the objective clear the barrel by maybe 1/32". Sometimes it would rub a bit.

Whatever rings you get, grumpy, get one level higher than you think you need for a given scope.

I'm getting between 5.5 and 9 FPE, depending on the pellets I use. The most powerful so far are CPH @ 9.2 FPE.
