Default FX 500 53.3 FPE and then some

I have been playing with the power on my 500 Royale. Yes I know that many say that pushing JSB kings too fast will make it less accurate but so far I have not proved that to myself. In a 32 shot string with a 215 bar fill the average fps is 970.16. This equates to over 53 FPE of energy. At its peak it was slinging Kings at 980 FPS. What I have found is the 500 had noticeably more muzzle flip, making it much harder to maintain accuracy. I am still working on this and report back with some groups in the near future.

Oh, by the way I also shot string with the 35.8 eun gin pellets. The average energy was 840 fps for 56 FPE and it peaked at 889 fps for just under 63 FPE of energy ! Now your probably saying well that all means nothing, but let me tell you that my initial accuracy reports have been very promising with these beast of a pellet.

Here is a JSB King recovered from duct seal. It was shot at 52 foot Lbs. Not bad expansion.
