Default Ballistic Coefficient

Anybody got a clue as to the BC of the .457 slugs? Google isn't giving me much info. I picked up my Texan today and included in the deal were a bunch of slugs. Most were from Hunters Supply, the 350 mostly. I'm looking to get an idea of the trajectory of these as well as ones from Mr HP in the 255-280 range.
There were also some BT's, 415g I think

Thanks

Hm, think its hard to tell without know exactly which slug it is. Are you casting them, or are they pre bought ?

Thanks - looking at some of the casting forums is seems like most of the .45 "bullits" are somewhere in the .18 to .24 range......depending on the fps.

Within Chairgun pro app there is a BC calculator. If you know the velocity and the drop at a given yardage it will calculate BC.

Chairgun pro is a free app on Itunes

I would also recomend a paid app called StrelokPro. By far the best ballistic app I have tried it also has a BC calulator.

I actually have the Strelok+ on my phone. I think this is what I will wind up doing. I will use my brothers bore sighter and set it for like 50yds. I will then shoot it at 100 and calculate it.

I personaly like the 200gr HP from Hunter supply. First 3 shots average 980 fps 430 ftlbs. Aprox BC of .14
I think it is a good ballance of Power and shot count. 5 shot string 997,984,968,952,945. With this bullet I was able to hit a milk jug at 300yrds.

That sounds real nice. Is that filling right to 3K? Everything stock? Where do you have the tuning wheel set?

I was figuring 2 shots with a follow-up a bit lower, but 5 w/i 5% would be fantastic

Thanks - I'll have to get some of those 220's. I think as long as I'm over 200 I'm buying the lightest projectile that will produce 400fpe so that it will give me the flattest trajectory. Looks lie those 220's do it with ease.
