Hello, everyone. I am pretty new to airguns, only having shot a Crosman rifle in my past. I just inherited a 357 pellet pistol. I found parts lists and manuals already. Where is the serial number located? I am away from home for a few days, but will check when I get back. The pistol has a broken tang on the hammer, but it is operating okay. It apparently has never had maintenance or cleaning. I think it is worth fixing. Suggestions or comments are welcome!

welcome to the forum wells. Personally I would not take the time to fix it but that is just me as they generally do not last very long in the first place. But do not let that deter you from doing so! One man's gold is another man's treasure! You may not find a serial number on it but I suspect if it has one it would either be on the side of the barrel or on the back of the frame between the two pistol grips. Hope this helps!

May sound crazy but you could always call Crosman. They are some top notch folks there. I have heard of instances where they repaired guns that were many years old free of charge. That is if they still have the parts for them. Either way good luck and have fun with it.
