Default Condor SS .257 with 29" barrel

condor ss .257 project 29

installed 29" TJ barrel with RL shroud. Had to use 3 bushings as shroud is for 700mm barrel. Using my modded valve on a standard tank recessed the return spring for TH clearance and ported valve stem.

Using Stock Hammer and Spring with 2 stock weights 83grams

PW 6/8 Max power with this set up is 952FPS with 80gr Lyman round nose 3800 fill

PW5 3800 fill 80gr 942,942,932

PW4 3800 fill 60gr 811,830,889,904,930,955,970,979,989,979,973,964,95 5,905,914

PW0 3300 fill 60gr 880,922,953,965,968,962,950,950,936,893,881,870

So I made a heavier hammer out of some brass 85.8grams using Stock spring and 73gr lyman 420 FN I am getting these numbers

PW0 3400fill 915,954,947,941,921,905

PW4 3400 fill 934,952,933,911

PW4 3800 fill 902,937,971,953,936,921

switched to 80gr round nose

PW8 3800 fill 962,953,941,935

PW8 3800 fill 953,953,935,922

Started to do some accuracy testing so far the accuracy is good dime sized groups are attainable at 60yrds, using 73gr 420 FN mold

Gun is reasonably quite with RL Shroud.
