Default When fishing goes wrong

So last night a few friends and I met up to try some fishing in the Fox River. We had nearly 2 full weeks of rain previously so the water level was quite high. 2 of my friends caught nice sized cats then something started walking towards us trapping us between the river and the creatute no one wants to be near....

After this little one passed us I couldn't just let it wander off still trapped in that cup so I chased it around for nearly 10min before I was able to position myself for the rescue. My first 2 attempts to grab the cup failed largely cause I was freaking out that I was gonna get sprayed and my fingers just slipped off the waxy plastic. After the second try this little skunk realized I was trying to help and literally stood there with his neck stretched and head to the sky giving me the clear chance at removing his constraints.

I'm sure many will think I'm crazy and they're probably correct however I couldn't just let this juvenile stinker wander away to get hurt or killed because he was trapped. Once freed he gave me a look and both of us ran out separate ways. Thankfully in the process I wasn't given a shower of skunk spray and the little one was able to move on safely to live another day.
